BUFFALO, NY. – 2019 University at Buffalo softball commits Madelyn Hickingbottom (Glen Williams, Ont.) and Alexis Lucyshyn (Calgary, Alta.) are two of 17 athletes named to the Canadian Junior Women's National Team.
The roster was determined by the coaching staff following a selection camp held in Fort Myers, Fla. earlier this month.
"We are very excited that two of our incoming recruits, Maddie and Alexis, are able to be part of the Canadian Junior Women's National Team," assistant coach Jody Hennigar said. "As a former Canadian Men's National Team member, I told them it will be the greatest experience of their lifetime.
