CLEVELAND, OH – The Mid-American Conference have announced the pre-seedings for this weekend's MAC Wrestling Championships hosted by Eastern Michigan University on Saturday, March 5 and Sunday March 6.
The Bulls top-ranked wrestler is Jake Gunning who is ranked third in the heavyweight division. Gunning is 16-11 overall and 12-7 in duals this season. Kyle Akins is sixth at 125. He is 18-10 overall and 11-7 duals.
Muhamed McBryde, Colt Cotten and James Benjamin are ranked seventh at 141, 149 and 197 lbs., respectively.
Four schools boast at least one top-seeded wrestler, with Missouri leading the way with five top seeds, while Northern Iowa and Kent State have two and Central Michigan has one.
