He’s been around the block in the NFL a few times. His five professional seasons have been spent with six different clubs. Greg Salas has just 46 career receptions, which pale in comparison to the 285 he racked up in becoming the University of Hawaii’s all-time receiving yardage leader. So why has the production not translated? For Salas there have been a litany of reasons from injuries to coaching changes, but none have dissuaded him from trying to find a permanent NFL home. And a home is what he’s hoping to make with the opportunity in front of him to remain on Buffalo’s roster.
