A few days before the 2009 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills traded a burgeoning star left tackle, Jason Peters, to the Philadelphia Eagles for a first-round pick, a fourth-round pick, and a future sixth-round pick. Peters, who had been lodged in a contract dispute with the Bills, immediately signed a four-year, $51 million contract with his new team. For seven of the past nine seasons, Peters has been voted to the Pro Bowl, and he also has two All-Pro honors to his resume. The Buffalo Bills went through major upheaval on their offensive line before stabilizing their left tackle spot with Cordy Glenn in 2012, but health concerns led the team to replace him with Dion Dawkins in 2017.
