Van Miller, the legendary Hall of Fame play by play voice of the Buffalo Bills for 37-seasons, died Friday after a brief illness. He was 87-years old.
A native Western New Yorker, Miller was the longest tenured broadcaster for one team in NFL history. He did two stints as the radio voice of the Bills, from the team’s inception in 1960 to 1970, and again from 1978-2003.

"On behalf of Terry and Kim Pegula and everyone at One Bills Drive, we are all deeply saddened with the news of the passing of Van Miller,” Russ Brandon, Bills President said, in a statement released by the team.
