The Buffalo Bills were up by a touchdown and driving with about eight minutes to go in their game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Tyrod Taylor dropped back, misfired, and got up off the turf and Bills fans were still apprehensive, knowing Denver could come back and tie. But then something strange happened after Von Miller took down Taylor.
On replay, most Bills fans said “psyche!” or the famous Wayne’s World catchphrase “not!” or something else depending on their age. We knew it was all in good fun, but the referee threw the flag anyway despite both Miller and Taylor laughing about it.
