Tyrod Taylor rushed for 38 yards against the New York Jets on Sunday. It was only the 20th-most prolific day rushing the ball in his career but in the process, he passed Joe Ferguson for the most rushing yards in Buffalo Bills team history by a quarterback.
Tyrod now has 1186 yards on the ground in 30 games, an average of 39.5 rushing yards per game. Several of Tyrod’s runs on Sunday resulted in first downs, including one on the final drive to seal the game on third down.
The man he supplanted was Joe Ferguson, who used 164 games to accumulate 1174 yards on the ground.
