After a handful of big plays were turned in against Buffalo’s secondary in Sunday’s practice, the Bills defensive backs turned in a couple of takeaways Monday in the team’s first padded session. In the first play of 11-on-11 Stephon Gilmore played inside leverage on Greg Little and followed him deep down the left sideline.
Tyrod Taylor’s pass was targeting Little, but Gilmore jumped and got to the ball first for the interception. For Gilmore it’s been a lock down three days for the cornerback, and it has grabbed head coach Rex Ryan’s attention.
