On August 5th, the Buffalo Bills had the honor of hosting Camp Good Days at their Community Relations tent during practice. The camp was founded by Gary Mervis for children afflicted by cancer, either personally or within their families. The group in attendance was made up of individuals from Western New York and children and counselors from all over the world. Children come from all over the world to Camp Good Days in order to share experiences, memories, and cultures with one another.
“The socialization they get, the confidence they get, is invaluable,” said Mervis.
Mervis reflected on why and how he started Camp Good Days.
