Television tribute to Buffalo Bills founder Ralph Wilson airs tonight in Western New York

On Friday, a half hour special detailing the life of football and charitable works of Buffalo Bills founder Ralph Wilson Jr. will air on local TV in Western New York. Fans can find the show on WNED-TV (Channel 17) at 8 p.m.

The tribute to Wilson will detail the founding of the football team, talk about the fondness Wilson had for the city of Buffalo, and will also tie in the Wilson family’s many charitable endeavors around western New York before and after his passing.

The tribute features interviews from the Super Bowl-era Bills like Marv Levy, Jim Kelly, and Thurman Thomas, executives from other team, NFL Comissioner Rodger Goodell, and some Buffalo media members also give testimonials about Wilson during the program.
