Sweat equity rewarded in Bills’ comeback win

NASHVILLE – Right after Marcus Mariota’s final pass of the game landed in Stephon Gilmore’s hands, sealing the Buffalo Bills’ 14-13 victory against the Tennessee Titans, Kyle Williams began a slow walk toward the Bills’ bench.

With both arms raised triumphantly over his head, Williams wanted to savor every bit of the fact that, after sweating it out for nearly three hours, he and his teammates were going to escape Nissan Stadium on Sunday with their third win of the season. Maybe it wasn’t a masterpiece. In fact, for prolonged stretches when the Bills’ offense was on the field, it was downright unwatchable – unless your idea of entertainment is seeing points scored at the pace of a slow drip.
