Don’t plan on seeing Spencer Brown play when the Buffalo Bills battle the Miami Dolphins this weekend. The rookie right tackle, who hurt his back before this week’s practices began, is doubtful to play on Sunday. That’s the official designation given by the team’s injury report, after Brown was unable to practice the entire week. Although Sean McDermott didn’t want to close the door on Brown, roughly 95% of doubtful players end up missing their games.
Also noteworthy is tight end Dawson Knox (hand) who didn’t practice this week. The Bills had already ruled him out earlier in the week, but seeing that he hasn’t begun to practice yet, a conservative guess is that he’ll miss the game against Jacksonville too.
