Special teams looking to give Bills an edge vs. Cardinals

With all the attention focused on the Buffalo Bills’ offensive and defensive struggles through the first two weeks of the season, the special teams unit has enjoyed some success that has mostly flown under the radar.

The Bills currently ranks fifth in punt return average, seventh in kickoff coverage and second in punt coverage.

The recent firing of offensive coordinator Greg Roman, and the Bills defensive struggles against the New York Jets last week has kept a few key special teams playmakers out of the spotlight.

Brandon Tate, who was signed five days before the regular season began, has made an immediate impact with a punt return of 21 yards and a kick return of 45 yards through the first two games.
