The Buffalo Bills’ punting game was anything but routine on Sunday.
Despite having its four-game win streak come to an end, Buffalo’s special teams unit continued to play a positive role for the team.
On the return side, the impact was felt almost immediately. Brandon Tate, who was signed by the Bills only five days before the regular season began, had a 30-yard punt return in the first quarter to set the Bills up at the Dolphins 30-yard line. Dan Carpenter kicked a field goal later in the drive to put the Bills on the board and tie the game at three.
