An initial MRI shows that Buffalo Bills rookie linebacker Reggie Ragland appears to have suffered a partial ACL tear, but the team is confident it is not fully torn, a team source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The team is scheduled to get a second opinion of Ragland's MRI on Monday, and that will determine how much time the rookie second-round pick will miss, the source said.
Ragland, the Bills' second-round pick in April's draft, was pursuing running back Reggie Bush toward the sideline on a play during Friday's practice when he pulled up limping and immediately went to the ground.
