Shaq Lawson is close to returning to the field for the Bills. In today’s media session, Rex Ryan said the following:
The team’s 2016 first-round pick has been on the PUP list for the first six weeks of the season with a shoulder injury. You may have heard about it.
By rule, when Lawson practices for the first time, the Bills have three full weeks to activate him. If they don’t, he must remain on the PUP list for the remainder of the season.
In an August 10 report, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported a source informed him Lawson was expected to be back between Week 6 and Week 8.
