During Tuesday’s Buffalo Bills practice, a connection from Mitch Trubisky to Isaiah McKenzie went scary after McKenzie took a hit from safety Jordan Poyer. Multiple reports indicated that Poyer attempted to pull up on the collision. Despite that, McKenzie lay on the turf for several minutes.
Trainers ran over to McKenzie and eventually were able to assist him off the field. Afterward McKenzie was sent to be examined and determine the severity of the injury. At a press conference later in the day, general manager Brandon Beane offered little detail.
“We sent him off to get checked out, and there’s really nothing to offer right now, Hopefully Isaiah is okay.
