The Buffalo Bills won their preseason finale giving them the first win of the 2017 preseason. Rookie fifth-round pick, Nathan Peterman, is being called upon by fans to become the starter. Head coach Sean McDermott took the podium after Thursday’s win and was first asked about his thoughts on Peterman’s play.
“I thought he was sharp,” said McDermott. “He moved the offense. I liked what he did. They got into a rhythm. I thought [offensive coordinator Rick Dennison] did a good job. We mixed in some runs, a good blend of runs and passes, stayed pretty balanced and we were able to get points on the first drive, which was important.
