With the 2017 season opener just four days away, first-year Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has decided which of his players will serve as team captains. Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander, place kicker Stephen Hauschka, quarterback Tyrod Taylor, defensive tackle Kyle Williams, and center Eric Wood will don the game-day “C” on their jerseys each week.
McDermott, who has stated on several occasions that he’s a big proponent of “player-driven leadership,” has put his stamp on team captains, marking a dramatic shift from the last regime at One Bills Drive.
