His first game as a free agent signee of the Buffalo Bills would prove to be a quick path to his last in the NFL. Linebacker Andra Davis was entering his ninth season in the league after signing a two-year contract with the Bills in 2010. His veteran presence was to be a help for young team being rebuilt under new head coach Chan Gailey. In the first half of the first game of the 2010 season however, Davis tore the labrum in his shoulder.
“I just tried to fight through it as long as I could,” said Davis.
