FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- It was fitting that the Buffalo Bills' shutout win Sunday began with a group of Rex and Rob Ryan's players fighting members of the New England Patriots in pregame warmups.
After all, it was once a bloodied Rex who was thrown in jail for scrapping with his twin brother, and it was Rob who said after the Bills' 0-2 start this season that the Bills "had their nose bloodied" and "want to fight."
Down for the count only two weeks ago, the Bills took on the personality of their coach and got the fight they wanted with the Patriots, winning it not in pregame warmups but more than 60 minutes of Sunday's 16-0 victory in New England.
