ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- After star receiver Sammy Watkins said Wednesday that he would play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals on his injured calf, even if it meant re-injuring it, coach Rex Ryan pumped the brakes Thursday.
"Yeah, we'll make sure that it won't be his decision, obviously, if that's what he's saying," Ryan said. "We're gonna make sure that ... we'll lean on the experts."
Watkins has been listed as a limited participant in practice this week after missing the past two games with a calf injury suffered in a Sept. 27 win over the Miami Dolphins.
