PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- Veteran Matt Cassel will "probably" start for the Buffalo Bills when they open their preseason next Friday against the Carolina Panthers, coach Rex Ryan said Saturday.
Cassel led the first-team offense for one of his three possessions in the Bills' intrasquad scrimmage Saturday evening, completing one of three passes for 10 yards.
