ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- When the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday placed safety Aaron Williams on injured reserve--designated to return, it raised questions about why Williams was allowed to return to play in last Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans just three weeks after suffering a neck injury that required hospitalization.
Speaking Thursday for the first time since the Bills' transaction, coach Rex Ryan attempted to fill in some of the blanks in the process.
"Well, he was sore and everything else, we all knew that and everything else," he said.
