Report: Josh Allen named starting QB for week 2

Sean McDermott will hold his regular press conference with the media on Wednesday morning and is expected to officially announce Josh Allen as the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills heading into week 2, per a report from ESPN’s Chris Mortensen. The Bills play host to the Los Angeles Chargers at New Era Field on Sunday, and look to erase the memory of last week’s 47-3 drubbing by the Baltimore Ravens.

Allen, the number seven overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, now gets his first career start against a Chargers defense that may be without Joey Bosa, who missed the season opener with a foot injury.
