The Buffalo Bills hosted free agent linebacker Mark Nzeocha yesterday. Nzeocha, 29, played with the San Francisco 49ers for the last two seasons. ESPN’s Mike Rodak tweeted the information Thursday afternoon, relaying information from Field Yates.
Born in Germany, Nzeocha played his college ball at the University of Wyoming, and he was a member of the Mountain West Conference’s All-academic team for three straight years (2012-2014). While in college, he played linebacker, free safety, and strong safety. His best season came during his junior year, where he totaled 101 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 passes defended.
