Report: Buffalo Bills add DT Vernon Butler on two year deal

The Buffalo Bills, apparently, needed two men to replace Jordan Phillips on their roster. On Tuesday night they were reported to have agreed to a contract with former Seahawk Quinton Jefferson - and now we have a second contender for snaps: Vernon Butler.

Per NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Bills are signing Butler to a two year contract with $9.3 million guaranteed. The deal can pay out as much as $18 million if all incentives are reached.

Butler, who turns 26 this year, is a former first round pick of the (yep) Carolina Panthers.
