Buffalo has released their long-time backup guard, according to his Twitter account.
The Buffalo Bills have informed guard Kraig Urbik that he is being released, according to a tweet Urbik posted earlier today.
Urbik, 30, was a third-round pick of the Steelers in 2009 but had spent his entire career with the Bills after they signed him the following season. He has appeared in 84 games with the Bills, starting 57 of those, and was a key backup at both center and guard in recent seasons.
Urbik's release will save the Bills roughly $1.
