Report: Bills promote WR Ed Eagan

Tyrod Taylor is getting a new toy to work with on Sunday, and it probably wasn’t the first name that came to your mind.

Per ESPN’s Mike Rodak, the Buffalo Bills have promoted wide receiver Ed Eagan from their practice squad and waived tackle Michael Ola. Ola was being used as insurance while Cordy Glenn, Cyrus Kouandjio, and Seantrel Henderson recovered from injuries. If he’s on his way off the team, those players should be back into good shape.

With the recent addition, what does this mean for Dezmin Lewis? It seemed as though Rex Ryan wasn’t too optimistic about promoting the second-year receiver during a press conference, when he implied that the team may look somewhere else on their practice squad to add receiver depth.
