QB Hackenberg hangs hat on his character

One trait that NFL general managers look for in their potential draft picks would be character. The ability to stay humble and honest in a day and age where character mistakes hit the news daily is seemingly inevitable. However, quarterback Christian Hackenberg of Penn State aimed to stray away from that trend. He proved it through his dedication and sticking to his commitments amid a notorious scandal.

Hackenberg signed a letter of intent to continue his career in football at Penn State, but only three weeks after signing it the Jerry Sandusky scandal surfaced.
