Rex Ryan has declared that his Buffalo Bills defense will be "fully pregnant" this season, in contrast to last season, when he believed he compromised too much and his scheme was only "half pregnant."
Yet through the first days of offseason workouts and classroom instruction, the player tasked with running Ryan's defense on the field has actually seen a simpler version of the system that players considered too complex and weighed down by on-field checks and substitution.
