Patriots Extend Bills RFA RB Mike Gillislee Two-Year, $6.4M Offer Sheet

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Patriots have extended Bills restricted free agent RB Mike Gillislee a two-year, $6.4 million offer sheet that would pay him $4 million in year one of the agreement.

Buffalo placed an original-round tender on Gillislee a few days before the start of free agency.

The original-round tender would have cost the Bills around $1.797 million for the 2017 season and gives them the right of first refusal for any offer sheet he receives from another team during free agency.

Should they lose Gillislee to the Patriots, the Bills would collect a fifth-round pick.
