The Carolina Panthers announced Tuesday that they’ve claimed WR Kaelin Clay off of waivers from the Bills and placed S Demetrious Cox on injured reserve with an ankle injury.
Clay, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later signed to the Bucs’ practice squad. After a brief stint with the Lions, the Ravens signed him to their active roster and brought him back on an exclusive rights contract last year.
