The Miami Dolphins appear to be looking for depth at linebacker as they brought in former New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills LB Brandon Spikes for a workout on Wednesday, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.
The 28-year-old Spikes is very familiar with the AFC East, having spent the first four seasons of his career with the Patriots before signing with the Bills in 2014 on a one-year deal. He re-joined the Patriots last offseason but was released less than a month later while being investigated by police for a possible hit-and-run and was not on an NFL roster for the 2015 season.
