Buffalo Bills GM Doug Whaley noted at the combine that the team had reached out to quarterback Tyrod Taylor's representatives about a contract extension, but it doesn't seem like discussions have been productive.
Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News heard from an NFL source at this week's league meetings that "there has been little, if any, progress" in extension talks between the two sides. Carucci adds that "no long-term offer has been made" to Taylor, who is entering the final year of his deal, and "the Bills aren't convinced enough that he is their franchise-quarterback answer to make a financial investment commensurate with that status.
