This comes after the Jets dismissed former head coach Robert Saleh midseason following another disappointing campaign that extended their playoff drought to 14 seasons, the longest active drought in the NFL.
Saleh’s firing marks the latest in a long line of coaching changes for the Jets, who have cycled through five head coaches — Rex Ryan, Todd Bowles, Adam Gase, Robert Saleh, and interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich — since their last playoff appearance in 2010.
