Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula's strong reaction to a Kelvin Benjamin touchdown being overturned last December has been validated.
NFL owners voted unanimously Tuesday to approve a new catch rule that league senior vice president of officiating Al Riveron said Monday would have resulted in Benjamin's 4-yard catch being upheld instead of reversed upon replay review.
"I wish he had said it back during the game," Pegula told reporters Tuesday at the NFL owners meetings.
