The Buffalo Bills made a slew of changes to their roster between the end of the 2016 NFL season and the beginning of the 2017 regular season. Some of those new faces had big days against in their debuts the New York Jets on Sunday, contributing key plays in Buffalo’s 21-12 victory.
Wide receiver Jordan Matthews, acquired along with a third-round draft pick in 2018 from the Philadelphia Eagles, made an immediate impact in his debut with the Bills. Although he only had 2 receptions, he totaled 61 yards, with both of his receptions resulting in Buffalo first downs.
