On Tuesday, well ahead of the NFL’s trade deadline, the Buffalo Bills made the decision to shake up their wide receiver room. General manager Brandon Beane made a deal with the Cleveland Browns and Amari Cooper packed his bags and headed down Lake Erie’s coastline.
The move came just hours after the New York Jets, who lost to the Bills Monday night, announced that they had completed a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders to reunite Davonte Adams with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Whether getting Cooper was always the plan or whether the Jets’ acquisition was the catalyst we won’t know.
