At Tuesday’s Buffalo Bills practice, an encouraging sight graced the practice field: starting center Mitch Morse, clothed in a regular white practice jersey. Per the team, both Morse and offensive tackle Conor McDermott are nearly cleared through the concussion protocol, fully participating in team activities and preparing for an independent neurologist to clear them.
Given the timing of events, with Buffalo’s “dry run” preseason game scheduled for the end of this week, Morse should be considered fully questionable for that game. Obviously the team would like to give him live action before the regular season starts, but since he’s only just returned to practice, that may be too ambitious.
