The fan vote for AFC defensive starters for the Pro Bowl has been finalized. Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde was voted in as the AFC strong safety by the fan vote. Many names are as expected with Joey Bosa and Von Miller having arguably the biggest name recognition. Despite his recent injury, Ryan Shazier led the way for inside linebackers.
Hyde certainly has the stats for the nomination. With 54 tackles on the season and 11 assists, Hyde has been all over the field this year. He has also managed to bring in 5 interceptions which he has returned for over 60 yards to help the Bills’ defense make a considerable turnaround from last year’s disappointing season.
