LeSean McCoy has been named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for his 110 yard, two touchdown performance in the Bills’ 33-18 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Shady’s yardage total was the fourth-highest of the week, but his two scores were more than Devonta Freeman (152 yards), Ezekiel Elliott (140), and DeMarco Murray (114) combined.
None of those players were up for the award, however. Instead, McCoy topped Seattle’s Christine Michael, who ran for 106 and two scores in the Seahawks’ 37-18 win over the 49ers, and LeGarrette Blount, whose 104 yards and two scores helped the Patriots roll over the Texans 27-0 on Thursday Night Football.
