Marshawn Lynch has been underwhelming if not disappointing for the Oakland Raiders this season. According to ESPN, Lynch has gained 266 yards on the ground in seven games, and 3.7 yards per rush.
His teammates Jalen Richard and Deandre Washington have gained 4.5 and 2.3 yards per rush respectively. The difference is that they are threats out of the backfield, and that is the direction that the prototype of running backs is headed.
The Raiders seem to have no problem being without Lynch for the game against the Buffalo bills; a massive game for either team.
