Buffalo Bills linebacker Manny Lawson is being investigated by the NFL, the team confirmed Thursday.
“We are aware of an investigation by the NFL under the personal-conduct policy, but we have not heard from the league regarding the results," the Bills said in a statement, per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.
Lawson is potentially facing a one-game suspension, according to Tim Graham of the Buffalo News.
On Wednesday, the linebacker denied having knowledge about the situation, per Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News:
#Bills Manny Lawson "has no idea" where story of his facing a possible 1-game suspension came from.
