It was a warm and sunny morning on Day 6 of Bills Training Camp when Mary Rose Carreo made her way to St. John Fisher College. A passionate football fan from Geneseo, N.Y. who recently celebrated her 100th birthday, Carreo came to camp in order to fulfill one of her life’s wishes—to meet her beloved Buffalo Bills. Through working with the Bills and the Twilight Wish Foundation, an organization based in Doylestown, Pa. that grants senior citizens wishes, her dream came true.

From the moment she arrived, Carreo’s love for the team was evident. Sporting a pair of self-made earrings emblazoned with the charging Buffalo, as well as a bucket hat draped with a red white and blue ribbon, Carreo was ready for her special moment.
