Leonard Hankerson close to re-signing in Buffalo, per Bills GM

Hankerson appeared in one game for the Bills late in the 2015 season, and was an unrestricted free agent

The Buffalo Bills are close to re-signing unrestricted free agent wide receiver Leonard Hankerson, according to the team's general manager, Doug Whaley.

In an interview with The John Murphy Show on Tuesday evening, the titular host and Whaley were discussing the team's options for replacing their slot receiver of the past two seasons, Chris Hogan, who signed with New England last week. In rattling off the names of several players that could compete for Hogan's playing time, Whaley mentioned that the Bills are "really close" to bringing Hankerson back into the fold.
