It wasn’t a sure thing. Kyle Williams had completed another solid season in a Bills uniform, one that ultimately got him to his fifth career Pro Bowl. But in another year where Buffalo fell short of the playoffs there was another head coaching change, the sixth for Kyle Williams in his time with the club. But after conversations with head coach Sean McDermott, Williams was committed to continuing his playing career.
“He and I have had some extensive conversations,” said Williams in a Tuesday appearance on the John Murphy Show. “I’ve spoken with (defensive coordinator) (Leslie) Frazier and (defensive line) coach (Mike) Waufle and they came to me and said they definitely want me back.
