Despite leading after Day 1, former Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Kyle Williams couldn’t hold on for the victory at the American Century Classic celebrity golf tournament. A blistering Day 2 run from Mardy Fish set the course record, and the former tennis pro took a lead he wouldn’t relinquish.
Williams shot a 70 on the first day to lead the tournament. The ACC is a modified stableford scoring system, meaning different points are awarded for different scores on the hole. You get one point for a par, three points for a birdie, and six points for an eagle.
