Karlos Williams will not be on the active roster for opening day, but an equal concern for the Bills was his lack of conditioning coming into training camp. Today, he took another step towards preparing himself for the regular season.

Per team announcement, Williams has passed his physical and is practicing today. He had not been practicing due to offseason weight gain, which was somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-25 pounds. At the time, he attributed the gain to his fiancee’s pregnancy, saying he had gained sympathy weight. A few days after learning that Williams would probably begin training camp in a conditioning program, it was announced that he would be suspended for the first four games of the regular season for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
