Josh Allen showing flashes in preseason despite shaky stats

A breakdown of the Buffalo Bills' 2018 draft class and its progress after three weeks of training camp:

Josh Allen, QB, first round: Allen has a 56 percent completion rate this preseason, the same mark that drew criticism about him in college, and has averaged 5.5 yards per pass attempt. But has shown flashes of his athleticism and arm talent. He rotated with Nathan Peterman, the Bills' only other healthy quarterback, with the first-team offense in the Bills' first two practices this week.

Tremaine Edmunds, LB, first round: Edmunds is the unquestioned starter at middle linebacker but struggled at times against the run early in last Friday's preseason game against the Browns.
